About Grace Alano

I am a San Francisco immigration attorney and have been practicing immigration law exclusively for more than a decade.  I am a Certified Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law (certified by the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California).  Because of my extensive experience and specialization in immigration, I can understand the big picture in your case and provide you with the right strategy and guidance.

I wanted to particularly focus on marriage and fiancée visa cases (also called adjustment of status, immigrant visa, and K-1 visa cases) because I enjoy working with couples in love.  I especially love it when they visit me again after a few years and come back with their children!  I myself am the product of a marriage between two immigrants who met at a party in Los Angeles.  My mother is from the Philippines and my father is from Venezuela.  I believe that love knows no geographic boundaries.  I also had to deal with a long-distance relationship (albeit within the United States) when my husband and I were dating and he lived on the East Coast for six years while obtaining his Ph.D.  I know and understand the mixture of emotions that comes with a long-distance relationship and the desire to be together.  I truly enjoy counseling people and working with them so that they don’t have to be apart and can build their future together.

My formal bio can be found at my attorney profile.
